AER is the Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired. Here at Northern Illinois University, we began a student chapter so students can get an insight into what this professional, international organization is all about. We work throughout the year to bring in guest speakers, fundraise around campus to bring awareness to students outside of the vision program, and hold various meetings to discuss how we can further raise awareness in our community.
